The Guru Sweeps the Leg, wins Week 13 of the My Sports Picks NCAA Football Challenge


Hi Fans,

One Expert stood out in Week 13 of the My Sports Picks NCAA Football Challenge. His name? The Guru. His record? A strong 5-2-1. The Guru's key to success? Watching The Karate Kid for the 785th time. As we all know, there is no mercy when it comes to bragging rights to see who is the best Sports Prognosticator. It will be tough, but The Guru will show No Mercy the rest of the way in order to defeat his competition.  Key picks included touchdown underdogs Utah and Georgia. Everybody else finished 3-4-1 for the week. Here are the overall standings as we near the end of the season:

Jeff Edelstein Goes 9-7, Wins Week 11 of the NFL Expert Challenge


Jeff Edelstein, columnist at The Trentonian and creator of the hilarious and insightful Jeff Show, has won week 11 of the My Sports Picks NFL Expert Challenge. Jeff's 9-7 mark inched him closer to the .500 mark, but he still trails The Guru by a wide margin overall. The Guru from My Sports Picks stands alone in first with a 77-66-1 record. John Walsh from The Betting Advantage is 30-27, but is an astounding 4-0 in his Best Bets. Harris Bornstein from FootballBet.net and creator of iBetFootball and The Wiz from My Sports Picks finished with a 7-9 mark.

Each finished with a 5-3 mark, followed by Vince Mullins of Fantasy College Blitz and Todd Devries of College Football Geek. The Guru from My Sports Picks finished a disappointing 2-6, leaving The Wiz as the clear cut overall leader with a 45-34-1 (56%) record.

The Guru Widens Overall Lead as The Rest of the Pack Eats His Dust


A 9-6 week has earned The Guru from My Sports Picks and Jeff Edelstein from The Trentonian the top prize in week 10 of the My Sports Pick NFL Expert Challenge. John Walsh from The Betting Advantage and The Wiz from My Sports Picks each finished at 8-7, while Harris Bornstein, the creator of iBetFootball finished at 6-9. The Guru has widened his lead to a seemingly insurmountable 8 games over his nearest competitor with a 70-57-1 record. If you want to follow the hot hand when it comes to Best Bets, John Walsh is the man with a 3-0 record.

Can anyone catch The Guru? Can The Guru improve on his 55% winning percentage? Stay tuned for week 11!!!

Devries, Mullins and Walsh Finish in Three Way Tie!


John Walsh from The Betting Advantage, Todd Devries from the College Football Geek, and Vince Mullins from Fantasy College Blitz all finished at 5-3 to take the top honors for Week 11 of the My Sports Picks NCAA Football Expert Challenge. Finishing a close second was The Guru and The Wiz from My Sports Picks. Overall however, is a different story, as The Guru and The Wiz continue to fight for the top overall honors. With the season winding down, it's a dogfight between The Guru and The Wiz as the others have a lot of ground to make up with not much time left in the season.

Ugly! The Guru and The Geek Win Week 9 with a 4-4 Mark



Fans,

Ugly is the theme of Week 9 of College Football in the My Sports Picks Expert Challenge. The Guru from My Sports Picks and Todd Devries from The College Football Geek shared the top spot with a 4-4 record. The Wiz finished with a 3-5 mark, while Vince Mullins from Fantasy College Blitz and John Walsh from The Betting Advantage finished with a 2-6 mark. The Wiz clings to the overall lead with a 36-27-1 record.

8-5 Takes Week 8 of the NFL Expert Challenge

Hi Fans,

Week 8 is in the books, and The Guru from My Sports Picks and John Walsh from the Betting Advantage are the winners at 8-5. The Wiz from My Sports Picks finished with a 7-6 mark, and iBetFootball app creator Harris Bornstein and The Trentonian's Jeff Edelstein pulled up the rear with 5-8 and 3-10 records respectively. Three Experts Go 7-6, Win Week 8 of the NFL Expert Challenge

John Walsh from The Betting Advantage, Jeff Edelstein from The Trentonian, and The Guru from My Sports Picks all went 7-6 to win Week 8 of the NFL Expert Challenge. The Guru has a three game lead overall at 53-46-1.

The Guru Wins Week 9, The Wiz Maintains the Overall Lead



The Guru from My Sports Picks went an impressive 6-2 to take Week 8 of the My Sports Picks College Football Expert Challenge. A gutsy call on Tennessee beating South Carolina highlighted the week's challenge, which can be seen in full detail here. The Wiz from My Sports Picks went 5-3 to maintain the overall lead at 33-22-1 after 9 weeks.

Rounding out the week's challenge was Vince Mullins from Fantasy College Blitz at 4-4, Todd Devries of College Football Geek at 2-6, and John Walsh of the Betting Advantage at 1-7. Rough Start John, but there's always next week!
